Snowdog

chART are announced as a sponsor for the Great North Snowdogs Project!

chART have kindly donated the Snowdog they are sponsoring to St Oswald's Hospice, Newcastle

St. Oswald's was the first hospice which chART worked with in 2011. Since then, our support has included funding family fun days, theatre visits, the provision of art and crafts supplies, musical instruments, cinema vouchers, a Beamz interactive music system, books, films and toys.

"In recognition of their outstanding work, we are proud to be St. Oswald's sponsor for the Great North Snowdogs campaign. It is our privilege to be part of such a significant event, which will result in increased public awareness and funds for the hospice. It will also help to raise chART's profile and fund-raising potential. We are delighted to be involved in working alongside St. Oswald's in such a huge and exciting community project, which will bring the region's rich culture and amazing artistic talent to the entire North East of England!"

- Carol Bromley, Co-Founder, Trustee & Secretary, chART

Sting and donation

Sting has very kindly donated and signed his Signature Fender
Precision Bass Guitar to help raise funds for a music appeal
by chART Children’s Hospice Arts

chART are working with St Oswald’s children’s hospice in
Newcastle to provide exciting music sessions organised by the
fabulous Sage Gateshead for a whole year. The funds already
raised will enable participation in different genres of music
during the first three quarters of the year. Options will
include beat box, classical, pop, rock, steel and instrument
making with the aim to provide a celebration of the different
genres in the fourth quarter with the additional funds raised
from this appeal.

Each activity will have roughly 4 visits from Sage Gateshead
and provide an interactive music making experience. All age
ranges will be included over the year and each child’s
strength and abilities will be catered for. Music can play
such an important role – the aim of these sessions is to give
the children and young adults the opportunity to enjoy music
they might not otherwise have experienced and to increase the
confidence of the children and young adults, both as an
individual and within the group.

To bid on this amazing guitar please CLICK HERE right now!

Huge thanks to Sting and his management for their kindness.

Sting and St Oswalds

chART would like to sincerely thank multi-instrumentalist and musical legend Sting for donating a signed guitar to our St Oswald’s Children’s Hospice Appeal.  If anyone would like to donate this is what the appeal is all about :-

We are honoured to be working with St Oswald’s Children’s Hospice Newcastle and Sage Gateshead in 2015/16.  Please help us to give the young adults and children of St Oswald’s the opportunity to take part in some exciting music sessions organised by the fabulous Sage Gateshead for a whole year.  We are donating the initial £2000 (Funded by the auction of guitars signed by Bryan Adams and Queen) but we need to raise a further £3000 to fund the provision of activities over the course of the year.

The funds already raised will enable participation in different genres of music during the first three quarters of the year.  Options will include beat box, classical, pop, rock, steel and instrument making with the aim to provide a celebration of the different genres in the fourth quarter with the additional funds raised from this appeal.

Each activity will have roughly 4 visits from Sage Gateshead and provide an interactive music making experience.  All age ranges will be included over the year and each child’s strength and abilities will be catered for.  Music can play such an important role – the aim of these sessions is to give the children and young adults the opportunity to enjoy music they might not otherwise have experienced and to increase the confidence of the children and young adults, both as an individual and within the group.
