Please meet Jessica. On Monday she joined us to see Nickelback along with Dylan, Abigail and Corey who attend Claire House Children’s Hospice. Here she is with Chad and the boys! We’re gearing up for our next auctions which begin on May 26th. This time around we are helping to raise funds for a very special project for Jessica. She has a rare condition called Moebious syndrome. This is a neurological condition that primarily affects her muscles. She has poor mobility so needs to be supported most of the time, she is also deaf and non-verbal and requires oxygen. She also has low bone density.

Jessica is like any other child – she loves to be outside, but also at age 11 doesn’t want mummy to be with her constantly. She is unable to play in her own garden alone as its uneven and she can often fall. As a result of her low bone density this can lead to breaks and fractures. Her Mum is raising funds to create a safe space for Jessica which will enable her to gain some independence and grow as a person, but the sensory equipment, artificial grass and paved areas on the wish list for Jessica’s safe space are expensive, which is why we’re aiming to raise as much as we can to help make Jessica’s world a more beautiful and safe place to play. chART are looking to fund the sensory equipment Jessica needs. Let’s help give Jessica the garden she deserves!

Here it is!!! An absolutely stunning, guitar and drumhead signed by Adam Lambert & Queen last night at the Manchester Arena. All proceeds from this auction will go to chART Children’s Hospice Arts registered charity number 1167129
We bring a diverse range of the arts to children and young people with life limiting conditions in hospices and hospital wards in the UK.

Easter art and craft goodies have been donated to the hospices we support. The children really enjoy these and we are only able to provide these treats because of the generosity of our wonderful supporters. We have donated £2,680 to St. Oswald's Children's & Young Adults Service Newcastle to enable them to make up a full year's funding for a Nordoff Robbins music therapist, expected to commence this September.
They are very excited to reintroduce this service, which makes such a positive impact on the children in their care.
We have also funded the purchase of six 'talking books', very popular resources enabling children's events to be recorded, providing special memories for them and their families.
The hospice are extremely grateful for this grant; we would not have been able to help without the support of those who bid in our recent auction and your kind donations.Thank you so much!

Ladies & Gentlemen.....We gave you a sneak peek at this amazing guitar signed by our very good friends Nickelback a few days ago (see it again in our gallery HERE).  It’s now live for a 10 day auction so get your bids on to have a chance of giving it a new home. The guys had an awesome meet & greet with 5 super fans from Claire House Children's Hospice in Liverpool and we have decided that all funds raised from this auction will be donated to Claire House Children’s Hospice.

Usborne Books kindly donated funds to chART, which we have used to purchase a set of ten lovely books each for CHSW Charlton Farm in Bristol, Demelza House Kent in Sittingbourne and Naomi House in Winchester.  We hope the children will enjoy the books.
