How We Help

We donate a book to every hospice we support, plus chART gift bags, packed with Arts related items, including children’s books for all ages and abilities. We organise storytelling sessions in hospices and visits from favourite book characters!

We are proud to be Friends of Seven Stories, the National Centre for Children’s Books in Newcastle. This group of supporters are passionate about books and committed to making literature accessible to all children and young people. chART funds visits to exciting events at Seven Stories for children and their families, including story parties and meeting authors.

chART Book of the Month

Each month, on our Facebook page, we recommend some of our favourite books; they may be new releases or children’s classics . All are available from either major bookstores, Seven Stories or online from Amazon. We’d really like to hear from you if you’ve read a book which you or your children love! Every book featured on this page will be donated to a hospice or the family of a child with life-limiting conditions
